LVI Energy Services partnered with a high end Mexican cuisine casual dining restaurant chain which had high energy usage of over 2,400 kWh per day, averaging $75,000 annually per location. We installed wireless thermostats, which were set to optimize dining area temperatures and balance kitchen fans. These thermostats are locked out locally and are managed by Corporate to established set points.
Our customer found overall reduction of 23% in HVAC energy, which resulted in a 15% reduction in total energy spend across the chain. Savings averaged $10,500 annually per location, and payback was five months.
